From the starting point at Hotel Grünwalderhof, head east and then turn right to continue south, passing the forest playground and the Patsch wood storage area before finally turning onto the forest road and following it north-east to the Patscher Alm mountain hut. Magnificent views of the Stubai Valley, including the Stubai Glacier and Serles mountain.
