Guests staying for three nights or more receive the Welcome Card plus, which includes additional benefits. Benefits include use of public transport throughout the Innsbruck region, free use of an Innsbruck city bike for 24 hours, the Experience Program and various discounts. You receive the free Welcome Card directly from your accommodation provider. You can find a list of partner establishments here. The Welcome Card is linked to the guest registration process at your accommodation. Innsbruck Tourismus (the Innsbruck Tourist Board) developed the “Welcome Card” and the “Welcome Card plus” as a service available to all accommodation providers in the region. It is up to each accommodation provider to decide whether to offer this service to guests, and Innsbruck Tourismus cannot require them to do so. If you stay for three nights or more at a partner establishment, you will automatically receive the free Welcome Card plus from your accommodation provider.

The Welcome Card and the Welcome Card plus are not available for purchase. The cards cannot be issued at tourist information centres.

At selected partner establishments, the Welcome Card can be issued before your arrival. As this is not technically possible at all establishments, please contact your accommodation in advance if necessary. The card is valid on both your day of arrival and your day of departure. Unless a usage limit is specified for a particular service, the service may be used multiple times. Please check the detailed descriptions for any usage restrictions.

For all lifts and cable cars that are included free of charge, no separate ticket is required. For the Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahnen and the Patscherkofelbahn, simply present your Welcome Card plus at the ticket counter to receive the discount.

Yes, you can use multiple mountain lifts and cable cars in a single day. The ascent and descent do not have to be used on the same day, but they can only be used during your stay.
FAQs Digital Holiday Assistant
-
The Digital Holiday Assistant is a web app that compiles the most important information for your stay in the Innsbruck region – from your digital Welcome Card to tips and more. It can be used like an app, even without an internet connection.

If you haven’t received an email or are experiencing problems with your access link, please contact your accommodation provider directly.
-
On the login page, you’ll find the “Forgot your password?” option. Enter your email address, and you'll receive a link to reset your password. After that, you can log in again as usual.
-
If your Welcome Card isn't displayed, there may be several reasons: the card has not yet been issued by your accommodation provider, your accommodation is not a Welcome Card partner establishment, or your email address is incorrect or missing. In this case, please contact your accommodation provider.
