Field walk Huebe - Oberperfuss

Route no. 7 from the lift car park at Bergbahnen Oberperfuss (fees apply), a walking path follows the Peter-Anich-Weg trail back towards the village until it reaches the "Aigen" district. From there, follow the route downhill to the left, continue west along the road for a few metres and then turn right to follow the signs around the "Hueber-Feld" (Hueber field). Finally, cross the road and follow walking trail no. 7 to the "Dickicht" district and back to the car park at the lift station.

The Finstertal route

Take the DreiSeenBahn chairlift to the mountain lift station and follow the route via the DreiSeenHütte mountain hut to the southern end of the Finster Valley reservoir. There are several options for the return hike: you can either hike back to the mountain lift station and take the lift down or hike back to Kühtai by following either the Stauseestraße road or the hiking trail.

This hike starts from Lehnbach car park and leads through a large area of pastures, following a forest road that climbs gently uphill to the Stöttlalm mountain hut. The rustic mountain hut offers refreshments and regional delicacies and features a terrace with magnificent views that stretch over the Mieming Plateau and all the way to the Stubai Alps. From there, follow the forest road that runs parallel to the golf course until you come to a paved road. The hike continues along a path that leads off to the right past the Greenvieh restaurant and the Alpenresort Schwarz. It then continues past the Josefskapelle chapel and fountain, where you can fill your bottle with top quality spring water. The last stretch back to the car park passes the petting zoo at the Alpenresort and gives you the opportunity to take a look around Steirer's farm shop.

A fantastic forest circuit east of Judenstein This circular route starts in Judenstein and leads northeast, past the church and diagonally across the football field before heading down into the forest. From there, it follows beautiful forest trails, mostly along the edge of the forest, without any significant changes in altitude or direction. The route makes a wide loop around the hamlet of Grafen, leading through fields and alpine meadows, past Untere Hochstraße and back to the starting point.

Starting point: fire station Gries Cross the river Melach, walk along the riverbank to the 'Reichenhof' farms,walk across the Melach bridge, and then follow the land road for 100m (300 ft).Turn right onto a nice trail through the meadows which takes you to the Narötz hamlet in about 50 mins. From here you can either a) keep going straight ahead , cross the Hallschrot bridge , and continue on the panorma trail no. 1 to Kniepiss, Praxmar or Lüsens. (20-30 mins) or b)Follow the access road 24a for 15 minutes to the Juifenau district.From there, return to Gries on Panorama trail no.1 (50 mins). Circular route: Gries-Narötz-Juifenau- Gries: 1hr45mins.
